Digital Casting Production without Molding (DQC system)

For efficiency's sake, our current goal is to reduce total production cost, not only the cost of molding. At a rate of 3,600 yen per hour, each second of production time costs one yen. For mass production, it is more efficient to find a way to reduce production cost than to save on molding. Theoretically, reducing production time by 10 seconds per piece will result in savings of one million yen for every 100,000 pieces.

Our ultimate goal is to make molding by taking into consideration all aspects of production, including the molding itself. The optimum target is to reduce production time and slash the number of defects to a bare minimum. We should not simply limit ourselves to the idea of cutting the cost of molding, and instead seek a variety of ways to decrease output cost.

Main Actual

Using DQC and a steel casting under development for trial and error, we have succeeded in materializing.
Comparing the material from the first, and a 3.0kg product lightens 600 g and is cut down very much.
We were able to cut down 180 yen/unit when I supposed it to be 300 yen /K

History

May 1965: Started wooden mold department and resin department with stated capital of 5 hundred 5 thousand yen.
March 1974: Newly established core shell department.

By the material production (DQC) not to make a model, there should be the intention of the designer "whom I want to work as first of all".
We can make 3D solid from DXF data and do not wait for a figure of appearance, and it is possible for grinding with a designer while goods sample confirms the grinding + suggestion with the designer with data + modeling.
