Appeals to the purchaser
We grow and ship konegi, or young green scallions, throughout the year, making our farming operations efficient and stable, and enabling us to to expand the business.
Harvesting was made less labor intensive and more efficient through the use of harvesting machines. We are striving to improve the cultivation of konegi.

Konegi harvesting
A konegi harvesting machine at work
Using machinery is four times more efficient than harvesting by hand.
Cleaning konegi
The process following the cleaning of konegi is more efficient because cleaning is done by size.
Weighing konegi
An automatic weighing machine is used, handling up to 30 bunches per minute according to a pre-set weight.
Yume Konegi, our brand
Yume Konegi is grown in soil carefully prepared with compost and organic fertilizers. Our brand is favored by customers who don't like the usual taste of negi because it is slightly sweet, making it tasty and easy to eat. Negi is usually used as a condiment, but you can enjoy Yume Konegi as a main ingredient in dishes such as kakiage light batter for frying or sauteed pork and negi, a local specialty of Kochi.
