What is "Kochi Manufacturing Industry Portal"?

Kochi prefecture ("Kochi") has established "Industrial Development Project" in March 2009. This "Industrial Development Project" is planned by Kochi as a comprehensive strategy (called "Total Plan") for each industry and social spectrum to work hand in hand to boost the economy within the prefecture, in order to create the dynamic society and to make sure the citizens to spend everyday life with full of hope for the future.

As part of this "Industrial Development Project", we are aiming the enhancement of competitiveness of Monozukuri enterprises as one of the incentive plan for industries which lead the regional economy within the economic growth strategies for each industrial field.
For above incentive plan, Kochi will organize joint-business meeting and participate in the trade fairs in Kanto, Kansai and Nagoya area and set up a booth of "Kochi prefecture", in addition to the approach for exploring new business opportunities.

We hereby announce that as part of above project and plan, Kochi launched a website "Kochi Manufacturing Industry Portal" to support business-to-business transactions ("B to B") of manufacturing enterprises in Kochi area .

Purpose of this Portal Site

In this site, manufacturing enterprises based in Kochi are introduced who actively undertake the business expansions. Also, there are facilities, specialty and other useful information for each enterprise are explained together with a system which enables to be in contact easily with ordering clients.
　In addition, in the case of any multiple ordering transactions which are difficult to be judged by Kochi, there is a coordination agecy to provide support service for ordering party.

　As for the operation of this website, as well as administrative bodies such as Kochi City, Kochi Industrial Association, Kochi Industrial Promotion Center, Kochi Prefectural Industrial Technology Center and Industrial Promotion Division of Kochi prefecture, there are also manufacturers, public testing & research institution and industrial support centers who are providing their support. Under the corporations between these public and private sectors, Ordering-opportunity Expansion Exploratory Committee was set up in order to provide an ideal and useful environment for the users.
