    Furafu

When travelling in Kochi during the fine weather in May, you will see many large flags with pictures of brave warriors in bright colors flying along with koinobori carp pennants above the roofs of houses. Called furafu. they are gifts from parents representing their desire for their male children to grow healthy and happy, and are decorated during the Tango no Sekku seasonal festival.

    Onobori, large vertical banners

These are also items to celebrate the Tango no Sekku seasonal festival. They come in about 10 different designs. Banners are approximately 90 cm in width and 10.5 meters in length. They decorate the western side of Kochi Castle in Kochi City.

Tapestry (Small room-size furafu, small room-size nobori)

These items are used to decorate the tokonoma alcove or living room to celebrate the first Tango no Sekku for newborn boys. It is also used to mark the child's first visit to the local Shinto shrine and to decorate the celebration table for the child's first meal.
It is said that furafu has power to keep evil spirits and malevolence away. They also create a good atmosphere in the room where you hang them.

Noren shop curtains, nobori vertical banners, maku partitions

These items are sold mainly to restaurants. We make them to represent your business image and attract customers using a variety of cloths, colors, types of letters, and logos after having extensive consultations with our clients.
