Cut vegetables
We work as a team to supply safe and worry-free products utilizing very advanced equipment under a strict hygiene management system.
We greatly benefit from our location in Kochi near the border with Ehime Prefecture where there is plenty of lush greenery and pure streams.
Power of Water and Soybeans
Our tofu is made using the pure water from the headwaters of the Niyodo River and flour from 100% domestically grown unpolished soybeans. The total nutrient value of soybeans is concentrated in the tofu because the flour is made from whole soybeans.
A study conducted by our company shows that our tofu contains four times the amount of dietary fiber and soybean saponin than conventional tofu. It is very smooth and full of rich soybean flavor so it can be used for desserts and Western-style dishes.
Ikegawa Ichibancha
The Ikegawa area of Niyodogawa-cho is an ideal location to grow tea because of the difference in temperature between day and night and the fogs that occur in early spring, in addition to the clear water from the Niyodo River.
Green tea is rich in Vitamins C and E as well as dietary fiber and catechin, which works
to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides. Drinking green tea is an ideal way to improve health and beauty.
Kagura Miso
Mothers in the Ikegawa area continue to make traditionally flavored miso, whose recipe has been passed down for generations. We want to do the same for the coming generations and preserve the flavor of home. Additive-free miso paste made from domestically grown soybeans is gentle to your body. Japanese-style meals centered around rice and miso soup supply a good balance of amino acids. They make an ideal diet by adding seasonal vegetables to miso soup so their nutrients can be enjoyed at their peak.
Ikegawa Konnyaku
We have been making round konnyaku using raw konnyaku potatoes for over 20 years. Fresh konnyaku is eaten in slices, and is known as sashimi konnyaku. When you cook it, the texture remains the same as when raw. Konnyaku has virtually no calories. The konnyaku we make from raw konnyaku potatoes is rich in dietary fiber and calcium, and is easily absorbed in the digestive system. It is an essential component of a healthy meal.
