Creating the town and street with effective use of thinned wood.

Kochi is the forest county, 84% of prefectural land is covered by forest. Also, about 70% of contry is covered by forest which is the world 3rd largest. Japan is often explained as country without resources, but the truth is that there are plenty of forest resources which have not been enough utilized so far.

In order to aim the recycling society, by utilizing the thinned wood which is produced during the process of timber, the valuable and one of the few renewable material on earth, we are aiming to spread the products throughout the country with our ideas and energy.

We will continue to contribute for the promotion of forestry and at the same time to keep in our mind the environmental protection and the way to effective use of resources and developing the products of thinned wood.

We are developing and manufacturing the products in new field by using untouched thinned wood and other agriculture and forestry materials in the region.

History

June 1994: Company founded in Kochi City
2001: "Forest Walk" was awarded The 16th Kochi Local Industry Encouragement Prize
2002: Wooden Cushion Drum, a joint development product with Kochi Prefecture, was patented as a vehicle collision impact absorption drum
2003: "Eco GMW Rails for Crossing and Fall Prevention" was awarded The 18th Kochi Local Industry Encouragement Prize
2007: Joint development of wooden guard rails with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and Koto Corporation
2008: Joint development of the special wooden pillar foundation construction method for soft ground with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The method was later patented.
April 2011: Company moved to Hidaka and built a factory. Began production of "Cat Sand", a pet care product.
May 2013: Began baked sweets business under the name Niyodogawa Yakigashi Honpo

Forest Walk: wooden/bamboo chip paving with elasticity and water permeability

Human and environmental friendly paving by effectively use the forest resources. This is the totally new paving system which is different from usual landscape paving, making the most use of features of materials, excellent in elasticity and permeability and colors are just as natural.

Hybrid guard fence: Eco GMW guard fence

Using the small diameter wood which has limited usage even among the thinned wood. This is hybrid cross and fall preventing fence applying the metals to joints and columns.

"Anzen-kun": vehicle collision absorption wooden cushion drum

This is the equipment placed at the point of junction and black spot, which mainly made from cedarn/small diameter thinned wood to keep driver's safety, by absorbing the impact of collision.
Easily be disposed and environment-friendly compared to the usual plastic products.
