We are developing, manufacturing, processing and distributing of precious metal industry materials. We will meet a wide variety of clients' demands.

Our company consists of four divisions as Precious metal/bare metal division, Precious metal processing division, Precious metal refining devision and dental materials division.
From above four divisions, Dental divison keeps 20% of Japan's top market share in metal-based materials industry.
In the years ahead, in precious metal processing division, we will continue the development of new materials for industrial use by taking the advantage of our technology of dental material's field. And aim to become a "company recognized by clients with existential value" which is one of our management principles.

History

May 1957: Established in Osaka as Yamamoto Shoten by Shigetoshi Yamamoto, former President. The business began with trading and processing precious metals.
July 1976: Company reorganized as Yamamoto Precious Metal Co., Ltd.
July 1991: Kochi Factory in the Otani Industrial Park(area) in Konan-shi, Kochi started operation. Precious Alloy Refinement Operation was moved from Osaka to Kochi.
April 2001: Manufacturing plant completed in the site of Kochi Factory. Relocate all the manufacturing related business from Osaka
June 2003: Obtained ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and CE Marking certification
December 2008: Obtained ISO 14001 certification
February 2010: Operation started at Kochi No.2 Yamakita plant
July 2016: YAMAKIN agreed on taking over the business from Panasonic Healthcare Co., Ltd.
January 2017: Shigenari Yamamoto became president and COO.
July 2017: The company name was changed from Yamamoto Precious Metal Co., Ltd. to YAMAKIN CO., LTD.
November 2017: Operation of Kochi No.3 Yamaminami Plant started.

Established as "Bare Metal Merchant", we have been trying to expand our business field for half a century and create the products in each devision of precious bare metal, processing, refining and dental materials. We are also recovering the metals from various products in refining devision.

[Precious metal/bare metal Division]
Our company's mark is the proof of credibility. Precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum and palladium are considered to have universal value and appeal and also important raw materials for technical and chemical industries at the same time. Since we established we have achieved satisfactory results with credibility as a metal trader. We are fully equipped for metal processing to provide our client the high quality products.

Main product line 2

[Precious metal processing Division] We will provide the processed precious metal products upon your request. Skilled engineer and young-and-enegetic staff will resond to every situtation for metal processing. We are also particular about quality control, continuous cast melter device is applied when processing. Capable of any designated size, combination ratio and shapes(sheet, line, wire, bar(round, square, pointed)). We also purchase the metals which brought over by the customer and able to return them after refining and analysis.

[Precious metal refining Division]
We are responsible for precious resource preservation. Precious metals are limited natural resources and valuable assets for the owner at the same time.
Developing the number of analysis machines and refining reacting devices possible for extraction and refinement with our advanced technologies, we have established the recycle system not to waste a tiny piece of precious metal.

[Dental materials Division]
Beautiful and harmless dental prosthesis are made by our materials.
Dental prosthesis which used by dentists and dental mechanics are mainly made from 3 materials such as metal, ceramic, and resin. Yamakin is a manufacturer of all of above three materials and responsible for the development and future of dentistry.
